SUMBA: THE IMPACT AND FUNDRAISING EFFORTS


Avidity International had embarked on a special one-week AvidOutreach Program. We are proud to have facilitated the Program for;

. 15 dedicated staff

. 57 enthusiastic students consist of;

. 36 girls and

. 21 boys


from 5 different departments namely;

• Front Office

• Housekeeping

• Culinary

• Restaurant & Bar

• Spa & Wellness


The program was aimed to engage and inspire participants through modules on leadership and personal development such as;

. Growth Mindset & Personal Disruption – Self Leadership in Hospitality

. Coaching

. Effective Communication in Hospitality

. The CorporateAthlete

. Leading in Customer-Centric Culture

. Managing Generation Gap


We are confident that the experience we’ve shared will help them to set and achieve personal goals, and to believe in their ability to succeed.


In addition, as a result of our fundraising campaign for the Sumba community, we were able to make an even greater impact by purchasing:

. 190 washable sanitary pads

. 8 footballs

The Sumba Hospitality Foundation is always in need of dedicated individuals who are willing to share their time and skills with others. They are currently looking for trainers focuses on;
